Well, I like it.

It has a sort of post-apocolyptic feel to it (or something like that).

I'm undecided as to whether I wish the mountains in the background were less hazy, or if I like them that way. Certainly, the nice dark water and darker stump work for me.

I like that stump just the teensiest bit off centre: that great composition, in my books.

I've been playing around some more with my colour management; this one was scanned and edited in EktaSpace RGB at 16 bits per channel, then converted to 8-bit sRGB for the web.
