Do you carry all that with you when you go out to photograph?  If so, fer

A back up body in case of camera failure. The lenses under the assumption
that the lens left behind would be the one I needed. As the body of my
question states the kit has gotten too heavy so I'm willing to put up with
more gaps for less weight.

As far as Steve's question about doing without the 300/4.5. It has become my
favorite lens so I would want it when going out with no specific subject in
mind. Though I would replace it if I knew I wasn't going to need a long
lens. And it's my only AF lens.
