Why, thank you, Lon. You flatter me.

Thanks to everyone else who commented on this one, as well. I won't waste the bandwidth to name each of you.

I almost didn't print it up. It came from my first roll after getting the Leica CL back from the shop, and I really didn't feel particularly inspired that day for some reason. Things weren't clicking, and I never got on that "roll" that sometimes happens when you get the flow going.

On the whole, that roll was pretty bad. There were a bunch of shots similar to that one, but after looking at the contacts a few times, that one seemed to emerge from the dreck. So I blew it up, and it seemed to work, both for me, and those who've seen it.

I've gotta go back and look at some old negs, to see what gems (if any) may be lurking in the darkness.

Anyway, I'm away for the weekend right now, back Sunday night, then Tuesday off to GFM, so I'm not likely to be around much (the place I'm going to this weekend has a really slow computer, so I may be able to lurk a bit).

Later,
frank
