Hi All, I have a new to me cheapie vivitar ring flash which I'm using on my K1000. Works fine under a metre, but it refuses to fire on my MZS, or a sync hotshoe (flash has a short cord with a mini jack on one end and a PC Sync on the other). I've tried it on a few other cameras but it still refuses to fire on anything but the K1000.
I assumed that its a voltage problem because it wouldn't fire from the built in MZS's sync port. But why wuld it not fire off a hotshoe sync??? Any work arounds? Thanks Feroze
