Some of my Nikons are too contrasty, so I know what you meant :) Sometimes that's how Nikon got that 'very sharp' look, but when I scanned the film, the resolution is somewhat disappointing - but does not apply to all of them, though.
I used Nikon for 6 yrs before the first Pentax, and I found Pentax color is more pleasing too. It's just a matter of taste IMHO. Regards, Winston >>Perhaps I should clarify.
