I succumbed to the temptation after all (no prices for guessing that :-) and exchanged £120 for a K135/2.5 and an AF Adapter F. I was offered £30 for the K135/3.5 in box with hood, and decided to keep it.
We had discussed in the past (Rob?) that the manual recommends against using the adapter with some lenses (eg 15 or 18) and warns that they may be damaged if combined. Has anybody used the AF adapter F with the F or FA50/1.7 (I have the latter but I think they are the same)? I am quite tempted by a semi-AF 85/2.9. at half the length of the Tamron 90SP. How much of a hit in resolution should I expect? I would like to use it for portraits. Thanks, Kostas
