that rather sums up the whole sorry issue. Anybody who cares to look
can find out the 'stealability' statistics for cars, and no doubt some
people do take this into consideration. But for most people it is not
a significant factor in their buying decisions.

Perhaps in some other universe on some mailing list unrelated to cars
there is somebody who berates the contributors for buying the cars that
are the easiest to steal. Who knows?
