Thanks guys, I think this'll help.
So far I've felt pretty welcome, only been snapped at a couple of times. (My
ex would be amazed!)
The times I got rebuked it was because I engaged my mouth (OK, Send button)
before my brain.
I'm really trying to get back into the craft and it's been quite a while,
need all the help I can get.
I figure staying on peoples good side is better for everybody.

One note the FAQ might have is: "Remember that the people here are from all
over the world.
Customs, languages, beliefs, religions, values and most of all their SENSE
OF HUMOR may vary!"

In the short time I've been here I've decided:
1.) To stay with film for a while.
2.) Worry more about the photo than how "fancy" the gear is.
3.) I need to go shoot some B&W again.
4.) In direct contradiction to #2, I need a better scanner!
5.) DOF is in the eye of the beholder.

The best saying I've picked up: "It's all about the image."

And I'm glad cat pics are OK again, my Bassett Hound is tired of having his
picture taken.
He's figured out that licking the lens puts a quick stop to it.
Biting the photographer works too!

Thanks All
Don
