As an aside, it makes my mind do a weird little twist to see an ocean-going ship the size of the MS Silvretta calling Basel its home port. There's that long, *long* river you have to sail down first...
(Had some fun times at Fasnacht in the early 1970s, but that's another tale -- one for which I wish I had had a camera.)
