I would recommend doing the C-41 negs yourself and scanning and
printing digitally at home. Much faster, cheaper, and most
of all better quality control. C-41 negs are easy to develop
and you don't need a darkroom.

Subject: Pro Lab recommendations?

Hi All,
With my recent 645 purchase comes a conundrum; where to get processing
done. For 35mm color D&P I have been using Adorama's "Pro-Lab" for the
past 2 years. However as of late the quality seems to be lacking (e.g.
poor color from normally punchy films, and slow turnaround). They also
informed me (rather curtly) when I enquired that they do not do 120/220
processing by mail order. Even though the do it for walk-ins.

So, can somebody recommend a good pro-lab (preferably in the North East
US), who will do mail order color processing / printing of 120/220?

Regards,
  Mick...
