It's a Good Thing that at least Canon continues to support the full 35 mm frame format. Even so, I'm afraid we're still 5 years away from the first full frame sensor in a midrange camera. Maybe the optimal route from film to digital is a 20D with several full frame lenses? :o/ Otherwise I don't care much for the 1DS Mk II just as I don't care for the MF cameras. Too big and heavy to consider for serious climbing/trekking. Servus, Alin
