Well, the museum is less then a 30 minutes drive from where I lived in the UK. The 
museum is in a separate building, not his house actually, and is interesting if you 
are in the neighborhood, though not too exciting. In the abbey photography is 
prohibited in the guided tour area, with the exception of the famous window, of which 
he made the first photograph in the world.
A tripod is not allowed however. In the area outside the guided tour you may 
photograph, including the area where parts of the first Harry Potter movie were shot 
(the scene with the mirror to name one). I found the abbey, the museum and the lovely 
village of Lacock worth a visit, but I don't recommend it for the museum alone if you 
have to make a big trip to get there.
