Following up on my earlier post of a test opinion: I disagree with the praise of the Ricoh 50/1.4 at least when testing my own lenses. I just finished comparing the SMC-M 50/1.4 with the Ricoh 50. From 1.4 to 8.0 the Pentax 50 was sharper and had better contrast at every stop. The test setup was a Pentax KX, mirror locked up, on a tripod with exposure according to a Sekonic incident meter. The Sensia 100 images were scanned with a Nikon 4000ED and compared at actual pixels in PS.
