American football, being an Aussie) and commented that it looked like a
video game.
I think that they are shooting at much higher shutter speeds these days, but NTSC lockes them into a frame rate. I have noticed for quite some times that sports broadcasts tend to have a rather unpleasant jumpiness about them.
It has pretty much destroyed any interest I may have had in televised sports, which wasn't all that much in the first place.
