Does this go for the MZ-S as well ????
Anyway, the PZ-1p has nice and quite fast AF.

Quite possible weaker AF motor was used for 2 reasons - keep the cost and
the power
consumption of the D/DS down. MZ/ZX bodies have weaker AF motor than the
Z-1/Z-1p
for the same reason.
