sorry, Alan, but my MX came with that kind of body cap and i bought it new. i also expect the sticker to peel exactly that way if never used because the adhesive dried without having been rubbed to keep it in place. unfortunately, that means that the camera needs an overhaul right away since it's highly likely the seals will be gone and the entire camera needing a CLA to clean out the dried lubricant.
