Well, maybe. But I can't help thinking about the Enigma machine.

The Germans thought it was completely secure and unbreakable. So confident
were they, that when they noticed they were sinking fewer and fewer
Allied ships, and losing more and more U-boats, they never bothered to
check their machines. Instead they started executing 'spies'.

The lesson from that is: never assume that you are safe.
