I've been testing my consumer zooms today. Pentax-F 4-5.6/35-80mm (AF) Tamron 3.5-5.6/28-80mm (AF) Tokina 2.8-4.3/28-70mm, Aspherical (MF)
And the winner is... The Pentax lens is the best, at least at medium to long focal lengths The Tokina is the best at short focal lengths The Tamron lens performs pretty poorly at any focal length Have a look for your selves: http://gallery37564.fotopic.net/p11054077.html Please note that the images shown are crops. The first sections (35mm) is apr. 1/4 - 1/3 of the frame. No editing, like sharpening or anything but "Autolevels". Jens Bladt mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://hjem.get2net.dk/bladt
