That's a pretty subjective question. I don't think I'd've bought it to start with, since focus feel is so important to me (YMMV). However, the M 85/2 can be a fun portrait lens to use, and (if it gets fixed properly) at a total cost of $180, it's a decent deal, I guess. Fred
