I still use the ear syringe - I bought a more high powered blower (a "Hurricane" IIRC) and found that it seems to blow more dust onto the sensor than off. the lower power ear syringe works well - though after a few careless mistakes on my part I got the eclipse system which I'v only had to use three or four times. Usually, the blower will do it.
