First of all, thanks for all the nice words from everyone WRT yesterday's PAW. It's nice that a few of you liked it, and commented.
A few people (both on list and off) commented on the crop (and as you likely know, I don't often crop). So, here's the full frame version: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3127790&size=lg Gianfranco mentioned that he thought the vertical black rubber strip on the door was a distraction, and when I was cropping, I initially took it out, but somehow the photo didn't look balanced to me. I felt that the strip helped frame things a bit. Anyway, it's no big deal. So, here's the whole thing, in all it's glory. Do with it what you will. You wanna try a crop, be my guest. <vbg> I thought there was just "too much door" on the full frame version, which I felt might have drawn attention away from the father and son. Now that I'm looking at the FF version, I'm liking it more and more... <vbg> I don't so much expect any comments WRT this but I won't stop you, if you have a preference <vbg>. Here's the cropped version, just so you can compare without having to jump threads: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3125114&size=lg cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
