Any flash with a sync cord will work. The trick is finding a flash with a sync cord these days. I think the Vivitar 283's and 285's may still have them. Any "potato masher" flash will as does the Sunpak 120J series (nice flash but pricey) Push comes to shove you can get a cold shoe to hot shoe adapter B&H or Ritz should have them. I was a J79-15 jet eng mech (RF4-C's) stationed at Shaw AFB S.C. from 69-73. Never went overseas. Got my first spottie when I was in, been hooked ever since. Welcome.
