Everyone has been (rightly) complimentary about your pic David, but may I play devil's advocate here and sat that uplighting and people (and possibly dogs) do not generally promote a favourable scene? Plus, because your Mrs is slightly soft, and the dog sharp, i think I would have either tried to sharpen her up a bit, or increased her blur to concentrate attention on the properly focussed dog.
