For some reason, and only at night time, the display on my monitor does this funny flickering, wobbly thing. I can continue to work on it but it kinda makes me motion sick. lol.
Anyways, it never gets turned off, but ONLY does it at night, which I think is a very strange phenomena, I mean how can a CRT monitor tell the time?! I'm really wondering if it is time to take the plunge into the world of LCD screens, but even through the discussion you guys have been having, I am still seeing the benefits of staying "old school". Suggestions gratefully accepted... :) Tan. ========= My monitors have wobbled when the CRT tube is close to going. But if it only occurs at certain times I would suspect something in the area is interfering, like my printer dims the lights and affects the monitor -- it draws that much power. So look for something around that might be doing it, like a microwave, or someone in the neighborhood with a CB radio. Or maybe something is interfering with your network. I am not up on ALL the things that can interfere with that, but I think even self-defrosting refrigerators can. Depends how close you are to what is doing it and how strong a signal it is putting out. HTH, Marnie
