The Photosmart V2 (USB) that I had did work better in ways, and with the
right registry tweaks gave me workable 36 bit scans to edit.  But I always
thought mine was somewhat soft.  Comparatively, when the RFS3600 gets it
right (focus wise), the results are pretty darn good (ref. the images I
posted earlier this evening).
