Reality - I shoot maybe 1-5% of the 35mm film I used to shoot. That's almost entirely 35mm B&W or if I specifically need slides because (like when submitting entries to shows).
Unexpected consequence- I bought into a 6x7 setup and shoot more B&W 120 film than I ever imagined, and little color in there as well.... 120 usage is probably 25% of overall shooting on a results basis (I seem to take lots more shots per keeper with the *ist-D than with any film camera.)

Subject: A short DSLR users survey
OK we've now got quite a few DSLR owners on board with a bit of use behind them, how about a quick informal usage survey?
For those DSLR users with 35mm gear who thought before buying their DSLR that
their 35mm film usage would:
Remain the same? Be halved? Become occasional? Become specific (i.e. B&W only or high ISO or slide only)? Cease all together?
Did your subsequent actual film use match your prior expectations?
For users who had Pentax SLRs prior to purchasing a Pentax DSLR did you end up
buying one or more new lenses specifically to suite the DSLR?
Cheers,
