i have one. i like it better than the Sigma 15-30 that i had before. it is
not the sharpest lens, but it is decently sharp across the field at f11-f13.
the 15-30 was noticeable sharper in the center than the edges and not as
sharp overall as the 12-24. the 15-30 also showed lots of chromatic
aberration in the corners while the 12-24 is much less noticeable. both show
the typical "grain" in the out of focus areas of the image, which i don't
like much, but right now, there isn't another 12mm offering that fits a
Pentax.

Subject: Sigma 12-24
I have read this (very positive) review of the Sigma 12-24 zoom
http://194.100.88.243/petteri/pont/Reviews/a_Sigma_12-24_f4.5-5.6/a_Sigma_EX_12-24_f4.5-5.6.html
and I wonder if anybody here has tried this lens?
