Thanks for the kind comments Badri. The feeders are within ten feet of a
window, placed so my wife can see them while she has meals (!). There's a
pair of binoculars so she can catch a closer look. When the sun is on
them and there's a gold finch there, it's an astonishing sight, i have to
agree. But most of the time, I tolerate them. Small white droppings on
the car....grrrr. No, they're fine, I like them.

I have not seriously photographed them - only through the window. I
thought about a hide (tent) but to be honest I'm not there yet. maybe in
a few years.
