I would guess at a total outlay of $15000+ over the last 5 years. But
many of the cameras and lenses were later sold. I no longer have any of
the 5 LXen, neither of my PZ-1p, only one of the two MZ-S, only one of
the two P645. I reluctantly sold the FA 85/1.4 and K 85/1.8 to help pay
for the limited lenses and the *ist-D. etc. I would guess value of
current stock at about $5000-6000. I probably won't buy the D645, but
for the time being I am not likely to sell any of my 645 lenses, just
in case...

The discussion regarding who would buy the new D645 made me wonder how
much you folk spend on your career/hobby/addiction.
I consider photography my main hobby, but being on the fugual side of
miserly, I calculate that my total expenditure for equipment over the
past
twenty years is approx. US$4000. Take away my two digital cameras
(*istDS & Optio 33LF) and its closer to US$2500. Of course I don't
make my living at this, nor do I consider myself an expert
photographer,
but I do have fun with the equipment I have.
I think I can confidently say that I will not be buying a D645 !!
Just curious.........
