Photoshop processing:
Noise ninja, Nik Color Effects brilliance/warmth, Highpass filter sharpening, converted to black and white using some process I found online a while back, burned in some of the pedals, and added film grain.

Explanation: at least on my display, there's too little contrast between the leftmost flower and the background so I did some more burning there. And well, roses are red, aren't they? ;-)
