FWIW Last thursday Pentax ran a full page ad in USA today highlighting 5 of their digital cameras - from the *istDs to the Optio S5i. The jist of the ad was within 3 minutes you could be taking pictures. "Taking the fear out of digital photography". All the 10 images shown were portraits of people or animals.
