If you have even the slightest interest in musical instruments, go to the music museum. (In The English Building, near the main museum.) If you have no interest in music, go there anyway for lunch or tea.

The main square at night.
The restaurant street which leads, more or less, into the square. (But don't eat there. There are many good places to eat, but these places are just for tour groups.)

Then go to Brugge, take a canal trip, spend some time in the old nunnary (?) on the path from the bus park and town center, and spend some time in the lace museum/workshop.

I'm off for a week in Brussels and Brugge. Any tips on good photographic subjects there?
