I'm one of the lucky ones, I guess. I design and write software for a living. I do it for "fun", too. I'd do it if "retired". It just suits me. Besides, I'm a lazy s***. Some of the stuff computers do best is exactly the sort of drudgery people shouldn't have to do. Like statistics and data analysis. I'm a freak for that stuff.
