I wonder if I'm in a pissy mood tonight or something ('cause I just
trashed one of Dave Mann's photos, and I always like his stuff).

This is another one that really doesn't do much for me. Two things bother me:

First, I find it distracting the way the two subjects are placed. The
smaller child directly in front of the lady rather obscures her, plus
I find that the larger adult behind the child makes it difficult for
me to pick out the child's form. I'm not explaining myself well, I
know, but there's something about that arrangement that I don't like.

Second, the lady's face is a bit OOF, but not enough so for me. It
should either be in focus, or more OOF, but the way it is seems to be
wrong (well, "wrong" is not a good word, but rather there's something
"not right" about it).

I like the greytones, and I like the perspective of the bench and
table edges, but those aren't enough to save it for me.

Maybe I shouldn't look at any more PAWs tonight! <vbg>

Again, sorry, but I gotta be honest, and I fear that it might "just be me".

cheers,
frank
