Well, I gotta be honest here, Dave (doesn't ~that~ portend something less-than-pleasant <g>), but this one just doesn't speak to me.

Thanks for the comments, Frank. I appreciate the honest feedback.
The thing that attracted my eye to this one was the lighting near the bottom of the hill. This is why the bottom of the frame is a little dark because I was trying to highlight that bit of light, while putting it into some kind of context (I was shooting with my longest lens anyway and had to fill the rest of the frame with something). I couldn't do anything about the TV transmitter and it does annoy me in that location.
There is actually a fair bit of detail at the bottom of the frame but it's mostly houses and was fairly noisy in the scan so I dropped that stuff right to the bottom of the histogram. Unfortunately I've optimised the pic for my own screen which is probably much brighter than most.
I have some more frames on that film that have nicer colours etc but they can wait a while. I have a more subdued slide planned for next week :)
Maybe you're a victim of your own success, and I expect each new photo to out-do the last (as they all seem to have, up to this one <g>).
Oh good, so next week will be easy <G>
Cheers,
- Dave
