What kills me about Pentax, aside from their lethargy, is that their whole marketing strategy (at least in digital) (do they have a marketing strategy otherwise?) indicates they are not marketing to me.
Lot's of stuff written that I subsequently deleted regarding Taco Bell hiring employees with numerous face piercings, who gurgle, sniff, snort and who knows what else while preparing my food... and their stupid talking Chihuahuas. They're not marketing to me either. And they receive not.
I wonder if Pentax realizes a huge majority of potential sales are lost in the 'used/previously owned' market?
Yeah, it's late and I'm going off on a tangent.

Over the past year or so, I've seen several large ads for Pentax Optios, here in Toronto.
Today, I saw for the first time, a large billboard ad for the *istDs.
It was pretty cool.
