LOL ... yeah ... C++ as a scripting language. :-)
I used to teach C++ programming and worked with the Apple compiler teams for their releases of the gnu C family compilers from 1999 to 2004. I never liked programming in C++: prefer to use C and Objective-C when I need a compiled language.
But I really don't want to return to programming for a living any more. It is a brutal job these days.
