The first one, the focus seems to be somewhere around the figure's shoulder. It might be a bit more effective on the face. The focus on the second one seems spot on, but the wings (especially the one to the viewer's left of the screen) seem rather lost against the dark background. Both images seem a tad dark to me on my (admittedly uncalibrated) screen.
