Other people have good arguments why the Pentax mount will not be
discontinued.
But I, too, think any Sony buyout of Pentax will not bode well.
Bit worried, in fact, that it may eventually do in this list.
Then where will this Canon user go???

Do not worry. We will always be here - as long as Doug will have us.
Christian and Cotty are still around. TV is gone from the list, but the
friendship that started from this list is such that I will always get up
with him whenever I am in his area (and no, it is not so I can spend
time with #7).
Somehow I note that we are beyond the gear.
