Kodak has been a SLR manufacturer in the digital realm from the beginning, on the other hand they have never been adverse to abandoning a market, if there was no profit in it.

I don't think Kodak see themselves as a slr manufacturer. They probably made 
them in order to sell sensors. Kodak may now have more formalized outlets for 
their sensors by proper camera manufacturers.
