When I'm shooting multi-image panos using my *ist D and the light is 
particularly bad (need wide latitude to capture the full scene) I often bracket 
at each frame. Working this way the process gets bogged down very quickly and 
in this time the lighting and sky can often change dramatically. I also often 
have to shoot off a flurry of shots when doing stage work again I often get 
caught by the full buffer. The faster the buffer and write time the better for 
me.
