I downloaded and tried JAlbum based on comments here. If I didn't have Photoshop which includes an automated web gallery maker, JAlbum would be a good choice. However, compared to the Photoshop Web Gallery feature, JAlbum is a bit more complicated to use, although that assessment may, at least in part, be because it's not as familiar to me as the PS feature. So, if you're running PS 7.0 or later (can't recall if 6.0 has the Web Gallery feature), JAlbum may not be necessary or worth the time.
