the birds weren't going to move much no matter what as they would defend
their chicks. 71 and 73 were from the same spot. there really wasn't any
other place to be able to place a tripod. i was on the top of a retaining
wall with a 20ft drop into the pool below me. the other side of the
retaining wall was a steep rock bank and trees in the way. i had a choice of
focal lengths to shoot with and those were the ones i ended up with. there
are wider and narrower shots that i liked less. of the two, i prefer 71
because it includes the flowers in the corner.

Were 71 and 73 shot from exactly the same spot?
I like them both, I think I would like 73 if it were a tad looser, if
possible.
