<LOL> There was something very exhilarating knowing that if you weren't carefully and skilled, you could easily end up in the weeds. Of course, you're right about replacing the tires. Rarely did I see a muscle car running around on stock rubber. Crager SS wheels and fatter tires were the first mods often made to those cars, some even came with factory options for beefier wheels/tires, then came the Hurst shifter (if it wasn't already installed from the factory). I loved the smell of burning rubber at midnight ;-))
