And thanks for the link to the Colville painting. I wasn't otherwise
familiar with his work and that painting was intriguing enough to
prompt some Googling. Some really fascinating stuff. Pushes at the the
boundary of "realist."

I agree with Shel, cropping out some of the top would strengthen it
considerably.
Kind of a surreal shot. Reminds me of Alex Colville, Canadian realist
painter. I think this is the painting that it reminds me of (even
though it's completely different <g>), called "To Prince Edward
Island":

Anyway, I really like yours, and as Shel said, with a bit of work, it
could be stunning, IMHO.
