Black Forrest = SCHWARZWALD:
Certainly you will find on your map STRASBOURG (FRANCE) near
river RHINE
and from OFFENBURG in MITTLERER SCHWARZWALD
there is the river KINZIG to the East.
You should follow the KINZIG (Offenburg - Haslach - Hausach
and turn to the right, direction GUTACH, HORNBERG) and then
follow river GUTACH to find the very famous and
fine Open Air Museum VOGTSBAUERNHOF with very old
farmhouses.
Take at least three hours for your visit, better more, if
you have sunny weather for your photography.
(Flash - METZ 45 - for the dark interior of the old houses.
Do not go on Sunday - too much people - open every day
during summer).

Near Offenburg on your way you will find the very old
FREIE REICHSSTADT GENGENBACH
(have a little walk on the market place, takes 20 minutes)

Sorry, in this time we (my wife, daughter and I) are in
Scotland ...

> ... a few days around Muenchen .. (Munich)

If you visit SCHLOSS NYMPHENBURG (Castle)
please dont forget the little buildings in the great PARK,
like BADENBURG, a little summer-house, very fine
restauratet.

Take one day to go to Lake CHIEMSEE with
SCHLOSS HERRENCHIEMSEE (island HERRENINSEL) - LUDWIG II.
König von Bayern -and a second island FRAUENCHIEMSEE or
FRAUENINSEL with a very old church.
Chiemsee is one of the greatest German lakes in a very fine
montain landscape. You may take a steamship
(Raddampfer) from PRIEN to visit the two islands in
one day.

Have a nice trip and good luck or you
