Nice shot, Fred! I like the diagonal composition and how the insect's tail and the plant tem seem to converge in the corner.

FWIW - that's a damselfly, not a dragonfly. Same order, different suborder. The smaller damselflies are usually less likely to perch out in the open like the dragonflies do.
