Thank you all, your comments inspire me.
Paul, you suggest to frame lower on group shots. You are off course right. I
wonder if the problem is that I can't really decide, whether I want to shoot
people or buildings. This is the place I live, and I love the wooden
buildings.
Boris, you suggests an off-center placing of the lady at the stairs. You are
also right. The reason I framed like this, is that I wanted to focus
attention low right, at one of her pictures (she's an artist). In retrospect
I see that I did not succeed in my intentions. Any ideas on how I could have
framed, and got what I wanted?
Boris, you also ask why I shot from low position on the lady with the horn.
I see your point, but I thought the picture would gain on some blue sky. I
still do. It gives a colour contrast to her hair, and the flower.

Tomorrow I will go to Førde Internasjonale Folkemusikkfestival. A festival
of folk music from many parts of the globe. I have a press credit (for my
website and a local paper), so I will be able to walk around more or less as
I want. There are a lot of good concerts, with good lighting, and me at
front row :-)
And also a lot of opportunities to do "street shots".

Mostly harmless (just plain Norwegian.)

Never underestimate the power of stupidity in large crowds
(Very freely after Arthur C. Clarke, or some other clever guy)

Tim, you've done quite well... Some random comments:

1085 - be aware of people walking into your frames...
1089 - well done but why from the low point?
1093 - perhaps moving your camera somewhat to the right would give you a
clean shot of her and probably somewhat off-center composition which is
usually not a bad thing
1098 - it is funny how one dog is static and other is anything but static
1102 - very good

You've done well, but don't stop, keep moving on!

Boris
