I just checked Danilo Cecchi's fine Pentax book. Describing the SMC
Pentax-A 16mm f/2.8 fish-eye lens Danilo states, "Consisting of nine elements
in seven groups, it weighed 320g and included four filters."
Since the "included four filters" can't fit in front of the lens I think
Tom's rear clip is indeed the filter locking mechanism.
Has anyone seen the four filters Danilo refers to? What type of filter
were they?
