I truly am sorry to hear that Glenn :-(

You have to wonder what the f**k some people are thinking when the do
things like that.

As an aside, 2 days ago a couple of young punks though smashing the
front driver & passenger side windows of my car would be a good idea,
and went ahead and did it. No attempt at theft, just vandalism.  My
first ever car, had it for 2 weeks, and this shit happens. What makes
it frustrating is they got away with it.

Looks like they did it with a hammer. Funny thing,  that night I had
dreams of smashing all there fingers and toes with the very same
hammer.

I know this pales into comparison compared to what happened to you but
I've been stewing about it since it happened. Just needed to vent. <g>

BTW, I did get some very nice pictures of damage using my *ist D &
28-105 4.5-5.6  PZ :-)
